Next up, iced sugar cookies, a necessity for every tea party!
I found this wonderful tutorial from Bug Bites Play Food. And be sure to check out her Etsy shop; so many cute creations!
I decorated my cookies with different sprinkles:
This video was very helpful in learning how to do french knots.
For the stitching around the icing and outside of the cookie I used a blanket stitch, which can be found here.
I also made some cookie dough... I think I will now need to make a cookie without frosting and a rolling pin!

Strawberries
My first felt food project!
Felt Strawberry Tutorial from mr.monkeysuit
This was a wonderful tutorial and I couldn't have asked for a better first project. They are very simple to make; yet very rewarding.
The tutorial recommends making circles 3 to 4 inches big for the strawberries, which is a very cute size. My husband wanted to see some larger ones, so I made a few 4.5 to 5 inches and they are much more life size. They are all so cute... I need a whole basketful!
